The coast around Portimão is beautiful, but the best spots (excluding Ponta da Piedade) are only reachable from the sea.

There are several solutions to rent a boat, but the best are the day trips with a sardine barbecue in a beach.

​We did it as guests of a local operator and enjoyed the day.
